Use What You’ve Got!

In our 21st Century individualist society it is so easy to live however you want – because it’s your life.  But for Christians – can we embrace that mindset?  Hebrews 10 walks us through a call to stick to our faith no matter what – and that includes our lifestyles.

A Pastor? Who’s That?

The church has been growing and changing culture for two millenia now, and we still follow what we see in the Bible for how we structure for growth and change. One of those pieces is called a pastor. But what is a pastor really? And why do we have them?

There Is No Maybe!

Luke gives a very detailed description of the events surrounding the crucifixion including the reactions to the events from several different groups.  Through it all, people are trying to figure out just who Jesus is.  Can He really do and deliver the things He has promised?  It seems as it’s either yes or no – there is no maybe!

Greatness and Failure

In his final words to his disciples before his arrest – Jesus talks to them about real greatness and the facts about failure.  Each of us has a longing for greatness and a fear of failure.  His words ring true for us knowing the deeper longings of our hearts.
